Job Description
Mikano International Limited is seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Officer to oversee daily transport and logistics operations. The role involves managing company fleet activities, ensuring timely movement of goods and personnel, maintaining compliance with road safety regulations, and supporting efficient logistics coordination across business operations in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily transportation and logistics operations.
- Supervise company fleet usage, maintenance schedules, and vehicle documentation.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company transport policies.
- Plan routes and schedules to optimize fuel usage and delivery timelines.
- Monitor drivers’ performance, conduct routine checks, and enforce safety standards.
- Maintain accurate transport records, reports, and logs.
- Liaise with internal departments to support logistics and distribution needs.
- Handle transport related issues and resolve operational challenges promptly.
Requirements
- BSc / HND / OND in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transport or logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of fleet management and Nigerian road safety regulations.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic logistics or fleet management software.
