Job Description

Deliveryease Logistics is seeking a customer focused and highly organized Customer Service Representative to support its day to day logistics operations in Lagos. The role is critical to ensuring seamless communication between customers, dispatch riders/drivers, and the operations team while delivering exceptional service throughout the delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced logistics environment and contribute to maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond promptly to customer calls, chats, and emails regarding deliveries.
• Process pickup and delivery requests and assign tasks to dispatch riders/drivers.
• Track shipments in real time and provide customers with timely delivery updates.
• Handle customer complaints related to delays, missing items, or failed deliveries.
• Confirm delivery completion and ensure proof of delivery is properly recorded.
• Maintain accurate records of customer details, shipment logs, and tracking information.
• Liaise with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery flow.
• Follow up with riders/drivers to ensure timely parcel delivery.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary and ensure resolution.
• Prepare daily reports on deliveries, customer interactions, and complaints.
• Promote company services and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic knowledge of Lagos/Nigeria road network is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in computer tools such as Excel, CRM systems, dispatch apps, and WhatsApp Business.
• Customer oriented, patient, and well organized.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with dispatch riders and drivers.
• Prior experience in logistics or dispatch roles is an added advantage but not mandatory.
