Supply Chain Data Management Officer

Job Description

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is seeking a Supply Chain Data Management Officer to support malaria health product data management under the Global Fund Grant. The role involves working closely with the SCMS Specialist, project partners, and the State Logistics Management Coordinating Unit (LMCU) to ensure accurate data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for effective supply chain decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in strengthening LMIS performance, maintaining data integrity, and supporting evidence-based supply chain planning at the state level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement techniques to ensure high quality data collection and accuracy
  • Design and manage data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting procedures
  • Lead the development of data capture tools and standardized data collection processes
  • Maintain and manage the LMIS database, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Develop mobile based data collection tools and databases
  • Design, manage, and update dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decisions
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics for LMIS and supply chain activities
  • Support governance of data access and security mechanisms
  • Create guidelines and SOPs for effective data management
  • Ensure digital databases are protected against data loss and security breaches
  • Collaborate with technical teams on data warehousing, analytics, and reporting
  • Support validation, entry, and analysis of supply chain and malaria commodity data
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in malaria project implementation, public health, or supply chain data
  • management
  • Strong data collection, validation, and analytical skills
  • Experience working with LMIS data systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in training development and facilitation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with government and project stakeholders
