Job Description

Microsoft’s Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is seeking a Security Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to drive security transformation across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. The CSA will own technical security strategy, architecture, implementation, and operational health for assigned customers. This role requires deep hands on experience, the ability to lead technical discussions with senior executives and engineering teams, and a strong focus on building secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers in secure strategy, design, architecture, and implementation aligned with Microsoft XDR and Azure Security workloads
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and other Azure security solutions
• Apply Secure by Design principles to strengthen customer security posture for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Lead Architectural Design Sessions, aligning solution designs with customer business and technical requirements
• Partner with other Cloud Solution Architects, FastTrack, Microsoft Services, and partners to deliver end to end security solutions
• Provide thought leadership in Threat Protection, Identity & Access Management, and Cloud Security
• Represent customer insights to engineering and product teams to influence roadmap direction

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, cybersecurity, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, architecture, or consulting
• Customer facing experience and delivering technical projects
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, O365), and optionally Purview and Entra
• Technical certifications such as Cybersecurity Architect Expert, M365 Security Administrator, SOC Analyst Associate are preferred
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and guide customers through complex security transformations
