Advans La Fayette Microfinance Bank is seeking for a Client Relationship Officer responsible for loan processing, monitoring loan portfolios, and developing the bank’s loan, savings, and deposit clientele. The role is largely field based, with over 70% of work time spent visiting clients in commercial areas to build and maintain strong relationships.

Responsibilities 

• Process loan applications and monitor loan portfolios
• Develop and manage loan clientele for micro, small, and medium enterprises
• Grow savings and deposit portfolios for target client groups
• Conduct regular field visits to clients in commercial areas
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support business growth through effective marketing and client engagement
• Monitor client performance and loan repayment behavior

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)
• Experience in the microfinance banking sector is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and marketing skills
• Good communication and relationship management skills
• Strong team spirit and performance driven mindset
• Proficiency in basic computer applications
• Knowledge of major local languages is an advantage
