About the Role
A leading Microsoft Gold Partner is seeking an experienced Business Central Functional Consultant to join their dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post–go-live support.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned consultant looking to work fully remote while contributing to high-impact Business Central projects across the UK. Occasional travel may be required for workshops or client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Central Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering full lifecycle implementations of D365 Business Central
- Leading workshops to capture requirements and understand client business processes
- Designing tailored solutions aligned with best practices and client needs
- Configuring finance and core Business Central modules
- Preparing functional documentation and supporting test cycles
- Conducting end-user training and providing guidance during UAT
- Supporting go-live activities and post-launch stabilisation
- Working closely with technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders
- Ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with Microsoft standards
Experience & Qualifications Required
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Business Central Functional Consultant
- Experience working with a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of Finance and core Business Central modules
- Solid understanding of end-to-end ERP implementation methodology
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Experience with D365 integrations and extensions
- Understanding of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications
- Background in accounting or finance (beneficial but not required)
