Salary: £80,000–£85,000 + excellent benefits

The Alan Turing Institute is the UK’s national institute for data science & AI—advancing world-class research and applying it to major global challenges. This is a strategic HR leadership position reporting to the Director of People. You will drive the HR Business Partnering function to support the delivery of AI & Data Science strategy across the Institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate organisational strategy into actionable people initiatives
• Lead and mentor HR Business Partners and the HR Policy Advisor
•  Coach senior leadership on HR processes and execution
•  Drive performance, talent management & engagement
•  Lead policy development, ensure compliance, and support ER matters
•  Use HR metrics for workforce planning and decision-making
•  Build and maintain a high-performance, collaborative HR culture

Requirements:

•  Senior HRBP or CIPD-equivalent qualifications
•  Ability to influence executive leadership
•  Strong performance management & HR policy expertise
•  Commercial, strategic, and analytical mindset
•  Exceptional communication & stakeholder management
