CNN is seeking a Community & Partnerships Manager for its new event franchise, Global Perspectives on Africa. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a global community of event participants, partners, and stakeholders. This role focuses on creating meaningful engagement, developing partnerships, and maintaining long-term relationships to drive collaboration between internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a global community of event participants, partners, and stakeholders.
•  Develop engagement opportunities before, during, and after events, both online and in person.
•  Collaborate with CNNIC marketing teams to manage newsletters, social channels, and communications.
•  Identify and develop partnerships with leading organizations and leaders across corporate, government, and association sectors.
•  Collaborate with sales and commercial solutions teams to create proposals and partnership packages.
•  Represent CNNIC at events, meetings, and industry gatherings to strengthen network and brand presence.
•  Share insights from partners and participants to inform event content, marketing campaigns, and strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

•  Experience in community management, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement within events, media, or related industries.
•  Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior-level corporate and government stakeholders.
•  Strategic thinker capable of tactical execution in a fast-paced, international environment.
•  Passion for connecting people, driving collaboration, and delivering results.
