Job Description

Mosra Enerji Limited is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Software Engineer (Java) to join its innovative development team. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high performing software applications that improve operational performance, customer experience, and revenue assurance within the power and electricity sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for electricity distribution and energy management systems
• Optimize system performance and reliability for large datasets from smart grids and metering infrastructure
• Develop data analytics and reporting modules for energy consumption, loss detection, and revenue assurance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in IoT, SCADA, data analytics, and power automation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient enterprise applications

Requirements

• First degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5–6 years software development experience, preferably in energy, power, or utilities-focused projects
• Proven experience developing solutions for power distribution, metering, or energy billing systems
• Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory) and familiarity with C#, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular)
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise level web applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Java EE, Object Oriented Programming principles
• Understanding of IoT protocols, AMI/MDMS systems, and data streaming is an added advantage
• Experience with SaaS application deployment and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies
• Strong problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
