Company Description

The BusinessDay Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to advancing inclusive development and strengthening media as critical infrastructure. We design and deliver programs that promote equitable access to knowledge, foster accountability, and empower communities through capacity building, multi-sector convenings, research and insights, and targeted development programs.

Our work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those focused on reducing inequalities, promoting decent work and economic growth, and building strong institutions. By focusing on high-impact areas, we support evidence-driven policy, unlock new opportunities for collaboration, and contribute to a more just and prosperous society.

Role Description The Strategic Growth & Partnerships Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with local and international organizations, funders, and ecosystem stakeholders that align with the foundation’s mission. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and stakeholder research, preparing concept notes and pitch decks, coordinating high-level meetings, and stewarding relationships through regular communication and reporting. The role will also collaborate closely with program, communications, and research teams to shape value propositions, track partnership performance, and ensure that commitments, deliverables, and impact metrics are met.

  • Comfort working with data and impact metrics to track outcomes, prepare reports, and communicate value to partners and donors.
