Nigerian Red Cross Society is seeking a Branch Training and Resource Mobilisation Officer to strengthen funding initiatives and deliver high quality first aid training at the branch level. The role involves supporting donor engagement, partnership development, reporting, and professional training delivery while ensuring safety standards, compliance, and alignment with NRCS humanitarian objectives in Sokoto State.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality first aid and related humanitarian trainings at branch level
• Support resource mobilisation activities, including donor engagement and partnership development
• Prepare reports on training activities, funding initiatives, and donor requirements
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Red Cross Society standards and safety protocols
• Support volunteer training, coordination, and capacity building
• Promote NRCS humanitarian objectives at branch and community levels

Requirements

• University degree in Public Health or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a First Aid Trainer
• Relevant First Aid certifications (preferred)
• Strong skills in resource mobilisation, partnership building, and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent written and spoken English
  Knowledge of humanitarian programmes and volunteer management is an added advantage
