Job Description

Sun King is seeking a Senior Marketing Associate (PAYG Phones) to drive marketing initiatives that support the growth of its pay as you go mobile phone products in Nigeria. The role focuses on executing data driven marketing strategies, supporting sales channels, managing campaigns, and strengthening brand visibility to increase customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate should be analytical, creative, and experienced in consumer marketing within fast paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive adoption of PAYG phone products
• Support sales teams with effective marketing tools, materials, and promotions
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance to optimize strategies
• Coordinate product launches, field activations, and channel marketing initiatives
• Manage brand visibility across offline and digital touchpoints
• Track marketing KPIs and prepare performance reports
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
• Experience in marketing, preferably in consumer electronics, fintech, telecoms, or FMCG
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition, field marketing, and channel marketing
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic marketing analytics tools
• Experience in PAYG, mobile phones, or emerging market products is an added advantage
