Position: Operations Assistant

Reports to: CEO

Location: Remote | Full-time (US hours)

Role Summary

We’re hiring a mid-senior level Operations Assistant to act as a strategic execution partner to the CEO of a mission-driven nonprofit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and can independently drive complex initiatives from idea to completion.

You’ll play a key role in translating vision into actionable plans, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and ensuring consistent operational progress across organizational projects and property initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Own and drive projects end-to-end — from planning through execution
• Break down complex ideas into clear, actionable steps
• Track priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder accountability
• Coordinate vendors, contributors, and external partners
• Build systems and SOPs for recurring workflows
• Provide executive support including scheduling and logistics
• Oversee project-based property operations and renovations

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in operations, project management, or executive support
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Tech-savvy with tools like Google Workspace and ClickUp
