Job Description

Center for Community Awareness and Youth Empowerment (CAYEI) is inviting qualified professionals and interns to apply for multiple openings across its administrative, programs, communication, monitoring & evaluation, and finance departments.
Successful candidates will support community development programs, youth empowerment initiatives, research, project implementation, and organizational operations. This is an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in the nonprofit sector and contribute to positive social impact.

Responsibilities 
• Support the planning and execution of community based programs and youth initiatives.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and preparing project-related materials.
• Facilitate communication between teams, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and adherence to organizational standards.
• Participate in field activities, community mobilization, and outreach efforts.
• Support M&E activities such as data collection, tracking indicators, and reporting outcomes.
• Assist with administrative duties, scheduling, filing, and record management.
• Contribute to research, proposals, and program development.
• Maintain accurate financial, logistics, or communication records depending on the role.
• Provide support to senior officers and project managers.

Requirements
• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree (depending on position).
• Strong interest in community development, youth empowerment, or nonprofit work.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, internet tools).
• For interns: Little or no experience required, but willingness to learn is essential.
• For officers: Prior work or internship experience in a related field is an added advantage.
