CNWL Addictions Directorate is recruiting for a new Children & Young People (CYP) Health & Wellbeing Service across Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
You will support CYP experiencing difficulties related to substance use — delivering prevention-focused support in schools, colleges, alternative provisions, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver awareness sessions in schools, colleges & youth settings
- Provide training for teachers, foster carers, parents & other CYP-facing professionals
- Act as keyworker for a defined caseload
- Offer 1:1 support, care planning, intervention delivery & reporting
- Work collaboratively with schools, CAMHS, social care, police, youth services & other partners
- Carry out assessments, implement care plans & evaluate outcomes
- Produce high-quality reports for stakeholders (schools, courts, children’s services, CAMHS)
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of recovery practitioner roles with CYP
- Training/knowledge in personal recovery principles
- Experience working with substance use, young people, therapeutic roles, or multi-agency teams
- Good communication, report-writing, listening & IT skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and deliver group/1:1 interventions
- Willingness to work flexibly and travel across locations
