📍Ontario, Canada

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee youth admissions and discharges, including physical and developmental checks
• Organize and participate in mental health or physical consultations
•  Conduct safety and risk assessments as required
• Provide health education and promotion to support a healthy lifestyle, including coping with medication side effects
•  Educate and support interdisciplinary team members as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
•  Registered Nurse with no restrictions to practice with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Proof of Personal Professional Liability Insurance
• Pediatric and/or mental health experience
• Knowledge of normal child/youth growth and development
• Strong nursing physical assessment and management skills
•  Exceptional organizational and triaging abilities
•  Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with computers: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Chrome
•  Team player and lifelong learner
• Fluency in French (written and oral) is an asset
