Our client a leading pharmaceutical chain store are seeking tohire a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to customers and patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily pharmacy activities, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
The pharmacist will also play a key role in inventory management, patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of prescription medications and provide appropriate patient counseling.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and other support staff where necessary.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and oversee stock management to prevent shortages or expiries.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide professional advice on medication usage, side effects, and general healthcare concerns.
- Maintain proper documentation and pharmacy records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure excellent customer service and patient satisfaction at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must reside in Ogudu, Ketu, Gbagada, or its environs.
- Ability to resume work within 3 weeks.
Location
Ogudu / Ketu / Gbagada Axis, Lagos State.
