Company: Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG)

Role Overview:

•  Build and evolve internal platforms, services, and tools to improve the software delivery ecosystem.
•  Design and develop internal web apps, APIs, and service integrations (developer portals, dashboards,   deployment tooling).
•  Maintain backend services that integrate with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
•  Architect scalable infrastructure and cloud-native systems (AWS, Terraform).
•  Enhance platform reliability, observability, and security.
•  Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize developer experience.
•  Participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel.

Required Qualifications:

• – 5+ years software or platform engineering experience; full-stack development skills (React, TypeScript, Java, Python, or similar).
•  Proven experience with CI/CD tooling (Github Actions, FluxCD, ArgoCD), Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
•  Strong understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
•  Experience developing secure internal web apps and APIs.
•  Familiarity with microservices and large distributed systems.
•  Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience in sports betting/gaming or interest in sports.
•  Knowledge of Kotlin, Go, OPA; proficiency in Python and Java.
•  Experience in high-growth or startup-like environments.
•  Contributions to open-source or developer productivity platforms.
•  Experience leading initiatives or influencing technical direction without formal authority.
