Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum

Type: Permanent

Join NetThreat Ltd as an Internet Security Support Engineer and play a key role in shaping the company’s support offering and business strategy. You’ll be the go-to technical expert across the customer lifecycle and report directly to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide Tier 1/2 technical support to customers, troubleshooting network security issues.
•  Act as the internal technical authority for security challenges.
•  Support sales through technical validation, product insights, and demonstrations.
•  Manage and support key firewall technologies.
•  Help refine and improve customer support processes.

Future Pathways:

•  Technical Specialist: Deepen expertise, move into higher-tier support or security architecture.
•  Pre-Sales Engineer: Use technical knowledge to support commercial activities and demonstrations.

Essential Skills:

•  Minimum 2 years in Technical/IT support.
•  Strong networking knowledge (routing, switching, VLANs).
•  Firewall management experience.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication.
•  Self-motivated and highly organised for remote work.

Desired Skills:

• Vendor experience or certifications with SonicWall and WatchGuard.
• Knowledge of EDR, VPNs, ZTNA, or wider internet security technologies.
