Join the Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health therapies team as a Horticultural Therapist, delivering individual and group interventions for service users with diverse mental health needs. You will work alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, arts therapists, nurses, medics, and psychologists, contributing to a fully integrated multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Deliver horticultural therapy sessions individually or in groups within adult acute mental health inpatient services.
•  Work collaboratively with the wider MDT to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
•  Plan and facilitate practical therapy activities while ensuring safety and compliance with Trust policies.
•  Support skills development and participate in formal and informal training opportunities.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in horticultural therapy work.
•  Experience leading group sessions and providing 1:1 interventions.
•  Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
•  Desirable: experience in mental health settings, working with service users/carers, and knowledge of recovery principles.

Qualifications:

• Relevant horticultural therapy qualification.
•  Health and Social Care Level 3 or A-Levels.
•  Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•  Desirable: understanding of occupational therapy within mental health settings.
