West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Associate Audiologist to join the Adult Audiology Department.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated, and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibility:
- Provide daily hearing-aid repair services and patient counselling
- Support patients with hearing aids, assistive listening devices & communication tactics
- Handle stock control, ordering, and general administrative duties
- Work across both Watford & St Albans sites
- 60% clinical, 40% non-clinical responsibilities
- Run the same-day drop-off repair clinics
- Perform device maintenance and hearing-aid adjustments
- Carry out performance checks, retubing, corda tube replacement, and minor setting changes
- Ensure smooth coordination with admin staff to maintain office operations
Requirements:
- 4 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade C or equivalent)
- HAC / Diploma in Hearing Aid Audiology (HCPC-eligible)
- Foundation Degree in Audiology or equivalent
