Job Description

Nordica is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Embryologist Trainee to support clinical and laboratory activities within its fertility and reproductive health facilities. This role is designed for early career science graduates who are eager to build a professional career in embryology and clinical laboratory science. The successful candidate will receive hands on training while supporting laboratory procedures, documentation, and quality standards across Nordica’s locations.

Responsibilities

• Support embryology and clinical laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Assist with preparation, handling, and documentation of laboratory materials and samples.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper data entry and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, quality control, and ethical standards.
• Support daily laboratory operations and assist senior embryologists as required.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with established clinical and laboratory protocols.
• Work collaboratively with medical and laboratory teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy).
• Completion of mandatory NYSC programme.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally in reproductive and clinical laboratory science.
• Must currently reside in Abuja, Lagos, or Asaba.
