Job Description
United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Analyst (NPSA-9) to support the Lean Innovation Facility under the Young Africa Innovates Programme. This programme empowers youth led innovation, enabling young entrepreneurs especially from underserved communities to build employment generating solutions across Nigeria and Ghana.
The Project Analyst will play a central role in planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and programme delivery across all six geopolitical zones.
- Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure efficient programme delivery.
- Coordinate project activities across Abuja, Lagos, and multiple regions.
- Monitor project progress and produce timely reports and documentation.
- Manage project budgets, financial tracking, and compliance with UNDP guidelines.
- Engage key stakeholders including government partners, private sector actors, and community organizations.
- Support capacity building efforts for implementation teams and regional partners.
- Maintain audit ready systems, documentation, and compliance frameworks.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth field operations.
- Facilitate communication between programme teams across multiple locations.
Requirements - Master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong project management experience; experience with large scale or multi regional projects preferred.
- Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Experience working in development, innovation, or humanitarian contexts is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to travel across all six geopolitical zones as needed.
