Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to oversee and support Clinical Operations staff within a global biopharmaceutical solutions organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line management of Clinical Operations staff (recruitment, performance reviews, development, workload review).
•  Ensure projects are properly resourced; support workforce planning.
•  Oversee operational delivery, performance metrics, and quality standards.
•  Provide expert guidance on prioritising clinical activities and contingency planning.
•  Support staff retention and onboarding of new team members.
•  Ensure SOP/WI and GCP/ICH compliance; monitor training completion.
•  Address performance deficiencies and implement training plans.
•  Chair regular clinical staff meetings and ensure follow-up actions.
•  Support project and country reviews, focusing on budgets, milestones, risks, and performance analytics.
•  Contribute to process improvement and may support business development.
•  May perform site sign-off/assessment visits.
•  Travel up to 25%.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent.
•  Extensive clinical research experience (CRO, pharma, biotech).
•  Prior leadership experience.
•  Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
•  Excellent communication, organisational, and change-management skills.
•  Strong time-management and technical skills; comfortable with modern digital tools.
•  Understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
•  Ability to travel as required (up to 25%).
