Join the Wandsworth CAMHS Under 5’s team as a CYP Psychological Practitioner Trainee, supporting young children with attachment, separation, emotional, and behavioural regulation difficulties. You will work across nurseries, children’s centres, and family homes, combining practical caseload experience with formal teaching at Anna Freud/UCL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Tier 2 CAMHS team to support children under 5 and their families.
- Â Deliver individual and group interventions to children and families.
- Â Participate in formal teaching and training at Anna Freud/UCL.
-  Collaborate with perinatal services, nurseries, children’s centres, and other local stakeholders.
- Â Maintain high-quality records and provide reports as required.
Experience Required:
-  Strong experience working with children, young people, and families with mental health difficulties    and/or other disabilities.
- Proven experience delivering both group and individual therapeutic interventions.
- Experience in therapeutic approaches suitable for Under 5’s services.
- Â Desirable: experience working within NHS settings.
Qualifications:
-  Professional qualification as a Psychotherapist, Creative Therapist, CWP, EMHP, Nurse, Social  Worker, Occupational Therapist, Drama/Art Therapist, CBT Therapist, or Systemic Practitioner.
- Â Registration with the appropriate professional body (where applicable).
-  Desirable: training in therapeutic approaches used in Under 5’s services.
